Wednesday 11 November 2026 1:45 PM - 4:00 PM
Qantas Engineering's heavy maintenance facility, Brisbane Base Maintenance, is responsible for maintaining Qantas' Boeing 737, Airbus A330 and Airbus A320 fleets as well as supporting additional Group aircraft. The facility also provides workshop support to the airline, repairing and maintaining aircraft cabin interior components across the entire Qantas fleet, as well as delivering maintenance support for customer aircraft. Over the past year, the facility has welcomed each new Airbus A321XLR aircraft, carrying out entry-into-service checks before joining the network.
Located at Brisbane Airport, the two-hangar facility operates six maintenance bays across 40,000 square metres and employs more than 600 team members.
As part MRO Australasia, delegates will have a guided tour of Hangar 3 - Brisbane Base Maintenance's wide-body hangar - along with its workshops and the adjoining Supply Chain facility.
